Class Description:
This one-day, hands-on neuromodulator training is designed for licensed medical professionals at the beginning of their aesthetic journey. Whether you’re brand new to injectables or seeking a solid clinical foundation before adding aesthetic services to your practice, this course provides the skills and confidence to get started safely and successfully.
Led by experienced aesthetic educators, this intensive course focuses on the fundamentals of neuromodulator use, including patient assessment, anatomy, dosing, injection technique, and complication management. Attendees will participate in didactic learning, live demonstrations, and supervised hands-on practice using FDA-approved protocols for treating the glabella, forehead, and crow’s feet.
What You’ll Learn:
- Pharmacology and mechanism of action of botulinum toxin (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®)
- Dosing and reconstitution protocols based on FDA-approved indications
- Facial muscle anatomy: origin, insertion, and function in relation to dynamic lines
- Aesthetic assessment techniques for facial expression and muscle dominance
- Proper injection techniques for the upper face (glabella, frontalis, orbicularis oculi)
- Charting, photography, documentation, and informed consent protocols
- Post-treatment guidelines and patient education essentials
Managing and preventing common complications (e.g., eyelid/brow ptosis, asymmetry, heaviness) Included With Your Registration:

Important Note for Hands-On Participants:
To participate in hands-on injecting during this course, you must provide your own model and hold an active, unencumbered medical license (RN, NP, PA, MD, or DO) in the state of California. License verification may be required prior to the training date. Models must be confirmed in advance and will be required to complete medical intake and consent forms prior to treatment.
