Understand the pharmacology, mechanism of action, and FDA-approved indications of neuromodulators (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®).
Learn proper reconstitution, dosing, and injection techniques for the glabella, forehead, and crow’s feet.
Identify key facial muscles, their origins, insertions, and functional relationships.
Review the aging process related to dynamic rhytids.
Perform comprehensive patient consultations, including facial assessment, photography, and documentation standards.
Discuss contraindications, adverse events, and complication management (e.g., eyelid ptosis, asymmetry, headache).
Practice charting, consent protocols, and post-treatment instructions.
Day 2: Dermal Filler Training
Understand the rheology of dermal fillers and selection criteria for cheek, lip, and chin augmentation.
Identify critical anatomical structures: fat compartments, vasculature, muscles, and retaining ligaments.
Learn proper injection depths, techniques (needle and cannula), and treatment planning based on facial proportions.
Describe the aging process of the mid and lower face and apply volume restoration using FDA-approved HA fillers.
Review facial mapping, vector lifting principles, and ideal patient selection.
Discuss adverse events and complications, including vascular occlusion: recognition, response, and reversal protocols.
Participate in hands-on training with live models under expert supervision.
Master documentation, informed consent, photography standards, and post-care instructions.

Important Note for Hands-On Participants:
To participate in hands-on injecting during this course, you must provide your own model and hold an active, unencumbered medical license (RN, NP, PA, MD, or DO) in the state of California. License verification may be required prior to the training date. Models must be confirmed in advance and will be required to complete medical intake and consent forms prior to treatment.
Class size is limited for individualized attention. Length of hands-on sessions may vary based on enrollment. A certificate of completion will be awarded upon successful participation.
